sometimes you can't think of a good enough title for your blog post so all you want to do is publish it without one but that would be unacceptable so you just write this long unnecessary explanation instead

One time, me and Gabe got each other the SAME THING for Christmas. And it was too funny. I mean, what are the odds people?? Here we are, 12 hours later, and I still can't get over it. It's just so great that we came up with the same thing! Man. Quite hilarious.

Now, whenever we look at our wrists in the future and see that nice watch that came from our best buddy, we'll be able to laugh and smile a little, and it'll be the best thing ever.

Also, we can't take a regular picture. AT ALL.

He's cool, we think alike, and today is Christmas Eve.
The End.

6 things

1. Boys basketball against IF was CRAZY LOCO WILD. I don't care what anyone else says, we have the craziest student section in the whole world. And these pictures are my favorite! Observe.

^^nothing like a victory dog pile^^

2. Holly got accepted to MIT. Holy smart woman. So in her honor, the crew went to red robin where we stuffed our faces and had intellectual conversation. (that last part was a lie)
^^also joel loves fries. 5 boxes full of those things^^

3. On Mondays we wear Santa hats. And pose really awkwardly. At first we were trying to be sexual, but that was way too difficult, so we resorted to what was most comfortable. Hence no swag.

4. I have the best friends ever. Friday morning, at 5:30 in the am, we did baptisms at the temple. Such a perfect way to end the week. It was a little Christmas magic for the three of us and we L-O-V-E-D it.

5. Joel makes the perfect uncle eddy, does he not? LOL this was the funniest thing of my life. If no one has seen Christmas Vacation, go watch it. NOW. You can thank me later.

6. My sister is so cool. She's had a lot of really great things happen with dance lately and I couldn't be more proud of her! (a sisterly love bog post might be coming soon peeps) We have fun.

cheers to the freaking weekend

It's been the most insane week of my life, kids. Homework, tests, senior project, soccer, training, doctor's appointments, basketball games, dinner..... My stress level has been to infinity and beyond pretty much every single day.
CRAZY LOCO.
So today, when I got home, I finally took a breath and did a happy dance with my mommy.
It was a fun time.

Then this happened.

I love you Friday. You are so good to me.

snow days and sedimentary rock

When you're a senior in high school and you roll out of bed only to find out that school is cancelled, what's the first thing  you do...?
Obviously make plans to go sledding! DUH.

So that's just what we did. All bundled up and way more excited than we should have been and we were ready to go.

Guys... I have THE FUNNIEST friends. Seriously every 10 seconds I'm laughing so hard I almost pee my pants.
^^there's abbie about to fly off a cliff..^^

Also, we went sledding at the sand dunes. This was a totally rad idea except for the fact that there was only like, 3 inches of snow covering the mountainous sand mountain. It was weird because we could pick up chunks of sand that had layers! It was sedimentary rock! So you could say that while we were sledding, we were also being scientists. No big deal.

It also looked like a sandwich. HA sandwich. Get it? LOL @ US.
^^abbie makes a good sedimentary rock/sandwich model^^

^^in the back of this pic you can see joel and tannis. they were making a jump. after watching them for like 10 minutes and nearly freezing our booties off, we decided to go off their jump (even though it wasn't finished).joel was MAAAADD. but we did it anyways and it was hilarious because in 3 clean sweeps we demolished that thing. and then abbie said, "sorry joel, we didn't want to destroy your dreams, we just wanted to destroy your jump." REAL funny guys, i'm tellin' ya.^^

^^2 things... this pic sucks and that's some stranger's car.... WIN^^

^^it was also so bright that we couldn't take a normal looking picture. its fine^^

No school is the best thing that could have ever happened to a Monday. Also, I'm passionate about sledding. And one more thing, my friends are cool.

ps...... we worked on Lyndsey's school science cell project thing for 12 hours yesterday. What I learned from this was that I'm basically pro at doing homework that's not mine.... Is it a problem? Nahhhh.....

funtivities

I like to say I do fun things.
Especially with cool people.
It just makes life more fun and cool.

This week the funtivities were wild.
Che-check it.

We made some missionary packages.

//the perfect missionary package includes stuff they can give to people they're teaching or little kids (ctr rings, mini books of mormon, pictures of the savior), a fresh tie, letters and pictures, book of mormon go fish, and LOTS of treats\\

Boys basketball started and I get so excited that sometimes I want to drop out of school just to be a basketball super-fan for the rest of my life.
I guess you could say I'm looking forward to the season.
//my boy park killed it this weekend\\

My family (including my totally awesome aunt and uncle) ran in the Santa Claws 5k.

//the before, during, and after. don't let the smiles fool you.... this was more of an awfultivity...\\

And finally... Rose and I were ratchets all weekend.
So basically it was the best weekend ever.

And that's all. Funtivites are rad. Happy Sunday!

burton

Burton stands for two things...

Snowboards and best pals.

Remember my awesome EFY buddy--Burton-- that came to visit in the summer? (if not click here) Well I got to hang out with him again yesterday. ALL DAY. We went up to Targhee and tackled some rad hills and joked and laughed and reminisced all the day long. Top notch, quality friendship time.

//it's obviously my goal in life to take the worlds most unattractive pictures on the face of the earth. it's fine\\

I'm so grateful I'm still friends with this awesome boy. He's a one of a kind friend and I know we'll be best pals for life!

Happy Sunday kids :)
