4 friends 1 mouse

Once upon a time, my friends and I wanted to go to Disneyland for spring break. So we did.

^^Day 1: The four of us kids drove down to St. Geezy. We're such adults. Driving places and stuff. It was a party.

^^Day 2: We found ourselves at Huntington Beach. Despite the weather, we loved every second of it! Because c'mon.. who from Idaho doesn't love the beach..? We also explored downtown Disney to get a little taste of what the next three days would feel like. Downtown Disney makes me want to cry almost as much as the actual park does. ITS JUST SO MAGICAL.

^^Day 3: SO much happiness. SO much friendship. I was reminded how much I love Disney today. I love it so much guys. I had the excited jitters allllllll day!!!

^^Day 4: Cars Land was absolutely perfect. They did such a good job with it! I had just as much fun today as I did yesterday. I love love love love love Disneyland. And to quote a little kid waiting in the 2 hour long Space Mountain line in front of us, "I am having the time of my life." 

>Rose and I walked arm in arm the whole way back because we both had heavy tears streaming down our cheeks. We both love Disneyland so much and we were overwhelmed with so much happiness and longing as we walked through the "thank you for visiting gates". No Disneyland... thank you.<

Day 5: We spent our last day in Disney doing our favorites. It was oh so magical. When it was time to leave, I was so happy and so sad all at the same time! This really truly is the happiest place on earth. And the fact that I got to go with my 3 best friends made it even more special and happy.

This was such a fun trip. And I'm so proud of us kids for actually doing it! And it was a piece of cake!

such a random life

Anyone who knows me knows that I HATE the dentist. The scraping of metal on my pearly whites, the nasty (and I mean nasty) taste of the tooth polish crap, and the fact that my dentist always tries to talk to me while his fingers are in my mouth........ I really just can't even handle it. So I was more than distraught when I remembered I had an appointment this past week. 

*shivers down my spine*

It was an experience for sure. 

I went by myself this time so I had my keys on my lap when the doc walked in. The hygienist was in the middle of flossing my teeth (owch) so I clearly couldn't say anything when he started talking. He saw my keys and said, "Are you driving now??" And in my head I'm like, "Well duh..." And then he said, "How old are you now? 15? 16?" And that was a shot to the dignity gosh dang it. 15!? Really!? I just closed my eyes and let the hygienist do her thing.

I hate the dentist.

The only good thing that came out of that appointment was the bubblegum toothpaste. I was transported back to my childhood with that magical stuff. It is absolutely wonderful!

Speaking of childhood, we discovered that I'm not allergic to TRIX CEREAL. Oh my goodness it's like the heavens opened and angles descended. I had tears in my eyes as I savored every single bite of that sugary goodness.

This was seriously the best day of my life.

Also, I discovered something that bugs me this week. Awkward hugs and handshakes. Seriously people. If you're going to give me a hug, make it good hug. None of that half pat/I don't really want to touch you crap. If you're going in for the hug then you clearly want one. So don't be lame about it. Also, handshakes suck. I'd rather just high five. BUT... if the shake is necessary, then I'm expecting a good, non-fishy handshake.

Call me crazy loco, but I'm passionate about my hugs/handshakes okay?

Another thing I did this week (I know... this post is super random. But it's my life so deal.), was sing at the top of my lungs in the car with my mom. It. Was. The. Funnest. My favorite song right now is Say Something so when it comes on in the car, even if I'm mid sentence, everything stops and I just jam out. I love jamming to this song so much that when my mom starting to sing along I asked her to stop so she wouldn't ruin it. Then I played it a second time so she could sing with me. It was the bomb!

So yeah. This is my life and all I have to say for now.

i'm in love with you

I'm in love with you, and I'm not in the business of denying myself the simple pleasure of saying true things. I'm in love with you, and I know that love is just a shout into the void, and that oblivion is inevitable, and that we're all doomed and that there will come a day when all our labor has been returned to dust, and I know the sun will swallow the only earth we'll ever have, and I am in love with you.

state basketball

Remember a while ago when I said I was a die hard skyline basketball fan? Well that hasn't changed in the slightest. I love going to basketball games and I love being crazy and wild and supporting my boys! Seriously, it's probably one of the best things about high school.

And boy do we have school spirit. The name of our student section is the 6th man. We dress up for every game and have even been featured on the local news. Yeah. We're a big deal.

So basically, my friends and I are all about supporting our school in this most exciting sport. So when our team made it to state for the first time in 14 years, of course we're going to road trip to Boise to watch!!

And that's exactly what we did. All the way to state baby. It was such a fun weekend! We drove our little adult selves over to Boise and watched as our favorite basketball boys (shout out to parker for being the number one favorite) did work against some really good teams. They make us so proud. They're such champs and they're sooooo good. It's so much fun to watch! (basketball is my favorite sport to watch by the way). They absolutely deserved to be there and I'm so glad my friends and I made the trip to be their biggest fans.

I have the best friends. This road trip was such a fun idea! I'm totally glad we did it. We got to chill and do whatever the heck we wanted and be all grown upey and it was awesome.

I especially love our basketball team. Thanks for making our last year to watch basketball such a great one guys! I love allllll of you :)
